Bhooth Bangla Worldwide Box Office Day 3: Will Akshay’s Film Touch 100cr In 1st Weekend? | Filmibeat Predicts

Bhooth Bangla Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 3 Prediction: Bhooth Bangla, a new horror comedy led by Akshay Kumar, hit cinemas worldwide on April 17. The film opened across India and in selected international territories.

Early overseas box office numbers have remained under trade expectations. Collections have not yet matched the strong discussion and advance hype surrounding the release. Much of that interest comes from Akshay Kumar teaming with Wamiqa Gabbi for the first time. The fresh pair has drawn attention from fans online and offline. Bhooth Bangla also brings Akshay Kumar back to horror comedy after five years, which has added curiosity about how audiences will respond.

The film features an ensemble that includes Paresh Rawal, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav, Mithila Palkar and Jisshu Sengupta with Akshay Kumar and Wamiqa Gabbi. Bhooth Bangla blends jump scares with situational humour. The makers aim for family viewing rather than pure horror. The project also fits into Bollywood’s recent run of lighter supernatural and horror comedy stories. Bhooth Bangla is directed by Priyadarshan, marking a return to Bollywood after a five-year gap. Priyadarshan last made a Hindi film in 2021 with Hungama 2. This is Priyadarshan’s second Bollywood horror comedy. The project also reunites Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar after fourteen years, adding nostalgia for viewers familiar with their earlier collaborations.

Bhooth Bangla Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 2

According to Sacnilk, Bhooth Bangla earned Rs 10.5cr on day 2 in overseas while the total worldwide collection stood at Rs 61.50cr after two days.

Bhooth Bangla Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 3 Prediction

Given the ongoing trend Bhooth Bangla is expected to mint Rs 10-12cr in the overseas today (day 3/ first Sunday) taking the overall collection close to Rs 35cr. While there are speculations about Bhooth Bangla touching Rs 100cr worldwide, looks like it will have to wait a bit. The worldwide collection will inch close to Rs 100cr mark and will have to settle around Rs 90cr during the opening weekend.

Meanwhile, Jisshu Sengupta opened up about working with Priyadarshan in Bhooth Bangla and told IANS, “The first couple of days, I was really wouldn’t say I was tense, but I was, you know, working with “THE” Priyadarshan. On the set, he is a very chilled-out director. He has fun and takes advice from everyone”.
