The delegation of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), protesting at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, met Union Health Minister JP Nadda on Monday, July 20. During this, the party submitted a written memorandum to him, in which three major demands were made.
What are the three main demands of CJP?
In the memorandum, CJP placed three important demands before the government.
1. Demand to release Sonam Wangchuk from hospital
The party first demanded the immediate release of social activist Sonam Wangchuk from the hospital.
2. Demand to remove Dharmendra Pradhan from the post
In the second demand, CJP raised the demand for removal of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan from his post.
3. Compensation to families of NEET-UG 2026 paper leak victims
Under the third demand, the party demanded a compensation of Rs 1 crore each to the families of the candidates who allegedly committed suicide after the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak. The party says that the future of lakhs of students has been affected by the incidents of paper leak. In such cases, the government should take necessary action by fixing responsibility.

Meeting held between government and protesters
This memorandum was submitted to Union Minister JP Nadda after the meeting between government representatives and protesters. Giving information on social media platform X, JP Nadda said that the proposal for talks had come from the protesters and the discussion started at 11:50 am.
What did JP Nadda say?
JP Nadda said that the meeting took place in a cordial atmosphere. “A detailed oral discussion was held at the initial level with the delegation of protesters. After this, at around 4 pm, they submitted a written memorandum to me,” he said. He also said that he appealed to the protesters to cooperate in ending the protest and restoring normalcy.
CJP’s agitation continues from June 6
According to the memorandum, the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) had started its agitation from June 6 to protest against alleged irregularities in the national level examinations. Later this movement was expanded to many cities of the country.
CJP raised questions on examination system
CJP says that several incidents in recent months point to serious shortcomings in the country’s examination system. The matters cited by the party include—

- Technical glitches in CBSE Class 12 portal
CUET exam delayed
The party alleges that the Education Ministry should be held accountable for these incidents and concrete steps should be taken to prevent such incidents in future.
