New Delhi: Early leaks around the next iPhone lineup are starting to surface, and this time the focus is on colours. Recently, the dark red colour of the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro was leaked.
A new report suggests that Apple is testing multiple colour options for the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro lineup. The information comes from supply chain sources cited by Macworld, though the company has not confirmed anything officially yet.
iPhone 18 Pro: Four colour options under development
According to the report, Apple is working on four colours for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. These include a mix of familiar tones and one new standout option.
The reported colours are:
- Light Blue, similar to the current Mist Blue
- Dark Cherry, a deep wine-like red
- Dark Gray
- Silver
Dark Cherry is expected to be the signature new shade this year. It is described as more muted and closer to a wine tone than a bright red.
Colours may still change before launch
It is important to note that these colours are still under development. The report mentions that the device has not yet entered mass production, which means Apple could still drop or tweak some options.
This has happened before. Earlier leaks for previous models included colours that never made it to the final lineup.
The same report also talks about Apple’s foldable iPhone, which is expected to arrive with fewer colour choices. Instead of bold finishes, the foldable may stick to simpler shades like silver, white, and an Indigo option.
Design tweaks and what to expect next
Apart from colours, the report hints at some design changes. These include a smaller Dynamic Island and a thinner body for the foldable model.
The foldable device is said to be just 4.7 mm thick when unfolded, which would make it thinner than some existing models.
The iPhone 18 Pro lineup is expected to launch in September 2026, with the foldable model possibly arriving later.
