Once again a new controversy has come to light in Uttarakhand regarding the name of the shop. This time the atmosphere regarding the biryani shop has become heated. A young man from Rudrapur ordered biryani from a shop named “Saurabh Chicken Biryani” through Zomato app.

After the order the young man became suspicious, so he investigated. Investigation revealed that this shop, which appeared under the name of Saurabh Chicken Biryani on the online app, was actually being run by a person named Rashid. After this information, workers of local Hindu organizations reached the spot and created a ruckus. Later, people associated with Hindu organizations met SP Crime under the leadership of BJP MLA Shiv Arora and demanded action in the matter.

The boy placing the order became suspicious that there was no Hindu run shop with this name in Trishul Chowk area. Based on this suspicion, he called his friends to the spot. Then the young man reached Trishul Chowk with some boys and started waiting for the Zomato rider. As soon as the delivery boy reached the shop to take biryani, the youth started protesting.

It is being told that this shop is being run by a person named Rashid. The youth alleged that shopkeeper Rashid was misleading people by registering on Zomato in the name Saurabh. Due to the name Saurabh on Zomato, people of Hindu community are getting confused and they are being served Halal chicken without any information, which is against their religious beliefs.
