Adil, a resident of Jaiganj, Aligarh, trapped a woman from Ghaziabad in Gandhipark police station area by posing as a Hindu. Rape was committed in a city hotel on the pretext of marriage.
It is alleged that the hotel operator also raped her. Somehow a woman came out of the hotel in the evening. Seeing this, the accused started beating him in the middle of the road. Seeing the beating on the road, passersby informed the police. The police have detained the accused.
The woman has been sent to the district hospital for medical treatment. Police are investigating the woman’s allegations. The 35-year-old victim told that her husband had died a year ago and she had a one and a half year old son. Meanwhile, the young man met Adil in Jaiganj locality of Aligarh in Ghaziabad. Where he often used to come and go for work.
The young man assured her of supporting her throughout her life by becoming a Hindu and promised marriage. About 15 days ago, he brought her with him to Aligarh and kept her in a hotel near Boner in Gandhipark area. The woman alleges that the accused youth took her hostage and raped her in the hotel. Had also hidden his religion.
When he came to know that he was a Muslim. Then he protested. Here, her partner, the hotel operator, also forcibly raped her. On Wednesday the accused was beating her in the hotel. During the fight the woman somehow came out. The accused also beat the woman on the road outside the hotel.
Seeing this, passers-by intervened and beat up the accused and informed the police. On information, SP City Aditya Bansal, CO II Dhananjay Singh and police station in-charge reached the spot and controlled the situation. The police have sent the woman to the district hospital.
Former mayor Shakuntala Bharti and other people also reached. The former mayor said that strict action should be taken against the accused. He has also tortured a mother and her innocent son. The victim alleged that the young man had also taken her mangalsutra and about three lakh rupees.
SP City Aditya Bansal said that a woman and a man are living in a hotel on the bypass of Gandhi Park. The woman is in an unconscious state. He is being beaten. The woman is also injured. The accused has been detained. If the hotel is not as per the rules then action will be taken against the hotel also.
