This deal will help in taking the company’s business to a new level. Wipro Hydraulics, which was engaged in Wipro Infrastructure Engineering and primarily manufactured hydraulic cylinders. After this acquisition, the company will now enter the market of hydraulic attachments. This means that now the range of the company’s products will become bigger and stronger than before.
Talking about Indeco, this company was started in the year 1976 and today it has its own special identity across the world. This company manufactures hydraulic hammers, mulching heads, cutting and demolition equipment. They are used in construction, building demolition and recycling industries. Indeco has 7 manufacturing plants in Italy and one plant in America. That means this company is already working at the global level. Now after joining with Wipro, its reach is expected to increase even more.
Why is acquisition important?
Wipro Hydraulics President Sitaram Ganesan said regarding this deal that this acquisition is very important for the company. He said that this will add new products to the company’s existing hydraulic cylinder portfolio, which will provide better options to the customers. Besides, the manufacturing and distribution network of the company will also be strengthened. He also said that both Wipro Hydraulics and Indeco are almost 50 years old companies and both are known for innovation, quality, reliability and good customer service. In such a situation, this partnership will prove beneficial for both.

Indeco CEO Susana Vitulano said that Wipro is a perfect partner for them, which will help in the company’s next growth phase. He said that this partnership will increase the capacity of Research and Development (R&D) and the company will get the benefit of global network. Wipro Hydraulics already manufactures custom hydraulic cylinders for many sectors like construction, earthmoving, material handling, forestry, farming, mining and truck tipping. Now with the addition of Indeco, the company’s business will become more diverse and stronger.
