CM Mohan Yadav Seoni Malwa: CM Mohan Yadav performed the bhoomi pujan of a road project worth Rs 972 crore in Seoni-Malwa and inaugurated development works worth Rs 106 crore. Information was given about new schemes and development announcements for women, farmers and children.
CM Mohan Yadav: On April 16, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav launched several major development works in Seoni-Malwa of Narmadapuram district. He performed the bhoomi pujan of upgradation and reconstruction of Narmadapuram-Timarni road at a cost of Rs 972.16 crore. This 72.18 km long route will strengthen the connectivity of the area. Along with this, inauguration and bhoomi pujan of 96 development works worth Rs 106.34 crore were also done, which included 45 works worth Rs 48.65 crore and 51 works worth Rs 57.69 crore. The Chief Minister visited the exhibition and also gave benefits to the beneficiaries.
Road show and grand welcome of the public
During the road show, the public welcomed the Chief Minister by showering flowers at various places. The Chief Minister also accepted the greetings by showering flowers on the people. Before the program, Kanya Puja was performed and an atmosphere of enthusiasm and welcome was seen in the entire area.
Women Empowerment and Nari Shakti Vandan Act
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Nari Shakti Vandan Act will provide 33 percent reservation to women in Parliament and Assemblies. He accused the opposition of opposing many major decisions and said that the government is continuously working for the empowerment of women.
Ladli bahana scheme and women benefits
More than 1.25 crore women are getting benefits under Ladli Brahmin Yojana. Till now, more than Rs 55 thousand crore has been given. Each woman has received assistance of more than Rs 40,500. There are plans to increase the amount to Rs 1500 in future. 50 percent seats in local bodies are reserved for women.
Connectivity and regional development
This road project will make access to Indore and Ujjain easier and will give impetus to regional development.
Social Schemes and Facilities
Milk will be provided to school children under Mata Yashoda Yojana. Under Rahveer Yojana, an incentive of Rs 25,000 is given for taking the injured to the hospital. Facilities like air ambulance and hearse are also being provided.
farmer welfare schemes
Subsidy in cow sheds has been increased for farmers and solar pumps are being given at 90 percent subsidy. Wheat procurement is continuing and a bonus of Rs 600 per quintal will be given on urad. The government is also working on increasing milk production.
New Irrigation Projects and Announcements
10 thousand farmers of 40 villages will benefit from the proposed irrigation project on Narmada River. Along with this, many announcements related to the development of schools and basic facilities were also made.
