She later acted in various films such as Hate Story 3, Race 3 and so on. Daisy has seen her share of struggle, as she had started her career in showbiz as an assistant choreographer to Ganesh Acharya. In a recent interview, the actress revealed that she was ‘badly touched’ by a South filmmaker during the initial days of her career. She recalled a horrifying casting experience in the South.
Daisy Shah Recalls Dark Experience From South
In an interview with Free Press Journal, Daisy Shah recalled how she felt harassed during a casting meeting with a filmmaker from the South. The Race 3 fame confessed that the incident happened in Mumbai when he had come to the city to conduct the auditioning process.
Daisy stated that several aspiring actresses had come to meet him for the opportunities. She revealed that the due to his behaviour. She said, “I was touched badly by one of the filmmakers in the South. He was meeting every one of us individually. But I didn’t like it because he touched me and he was holding my hand.”
Daisy further added that she never likes people touching her. Hence, she doesn’t get a massage because she hates being touched even by a woman. She revealed that she never got back to the filmmaker after telling him ‘I will get back to you’.
The actress confessed that the incident taught her that one should not meet anyone alone. Daisy also reacted to the perception about her that she is existing in the industry only because of Salman Khan.
She said that such perceptions overshadow her hard work. She feels it is a chain, and that doesn’t hurt her anymore. “I have become acclimatised to that particular trait,” Daisy added.
