According to the information received, the agencies supplying food and snacks during the Lok Sabha elections submitted their bill bills to the district administration. After this these shocking cases have come to light. According to the bills submitted by these agencies, an election worker has an average of ten plates of food every day.

In Patna, 20 thousand personnel were on duty during the Lok Sabha elections in the district. Now, according to the bills submitted by the agencies, Rs 18 crore was spent on food, breakfast, tea, pakodas and water. But when it was investigated by the administration, it came to light that Rs 2.49 crore had been spent on food. On the instructions of Patna District Magistrate Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh, a three-member team under the leadership of ADM Supply has investigated this matter. Three companies had supplied food and snacks during the elections.

Details of expenditure 10 times more

According to the information, if the investigating officers are to be believed, the details of expenditure given were almost 10 times more than the original bill. It was claimed by the companies that Rs 18 crores had been spent. After the claim, when the investigation team took the bill bills and details of the election site, their eyes were wide open. According to the bills of the companies, an election worker has been provided 10 plates of food every day. When the entire matter was investigated in depth, it came to light that there was large scale fraud in the bill.

90 bulbs and fans in one room

Not only food and breakfast but many other shocking matters have come to light in the bill. According to the DM, the place where the policeman’s residence was located had the capacity to seat 100 people. A bill has been given to install 80 to 90 fans and bulbs at the place where these hundred people live.

After such incidents came to light, the assistant election officers of the concerned assembly constituency were called to the capital and the bill bills were examined. After this it came to light that such a large number of fans and bulbs could not have been installed in the place where the policemen were staying during the elections. After this, after properly verifying the bills given by the companies, the remaining bills were declared fake.
