The 8th Central Pay Commission has announced that it will visit Kolkata, West Bengal on July 9 and 10, 2026 (Thursday and Friday) to interact with various stakeholders including central government organisations, institutions, unions and associations. To get an appointment with the 8th Pay Commission for the Kolkata meeting, the Commission has also asked the applicants to produce the ‘Unique Memo ID’ obtained after submitting their memorandum on the official website of the 8th Central Pay Commission.

Who can apply for West Bengal Meeting?

A notice from the 8th Pay Commission states that central government organizations, institutions, unions and associations based in West Bengal—who are willing to hold talks during the commission’s visit—can apply for an appointment. The memorandum will have to be submitted only on the website of the Commission (8cpc.gov.in). Needed. Hard copy or physical copies of the memorandum will not be considered by the Commission. The 8th Pay Commission in its statement said that the details of the meeting venue and the final schedule of the meetings will be shared with the selected stakeholders later. The 8th Central Pay Commission will visit Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir from June 1 to June 4, 2026, to interact with various stakeholders. The 8th CPC will also visit the Union Territory of Ladakh to interact with stakeholders on 8 June 2026.
