8th Pay Commission latest: Central employees are eagerly waiting for the recommendations of the Eighth Pay Commission. The Pay Commission has got 18 months to submit recommendations to the government. Keeping this in mind, the Pay Commission has started a round of meetings.

In this series, the Pay Commission has released the schedule of its upcoming meetings in Hyderabad, Srinagar and Ladakh.

Let us tell you that Pay Commission meetings have been held in Dehradun and Delhi. The objective of these meetings is to interact with stakeholders, government organizations, institutions and employee unions/associations on matters related to Pay Commission. These meetings will be held in May and June 2026. Interested parties will first have to submit the memorandum on the official website of the 8th Pay Commission and then take an appointment with the Pay Commission.

When and where will the meeting take place?

As per the schedule, the Pay Commission will visit Hyderabad, Telangana on 18th and 19th May 2026 (Monday and Tuesday). The 8th Pay Commission said that interested stakeholders have to submit their memorandum on the official website of the Pay Commission and take an appointment before May 8, 2026. After this, unique memo ID will also have to be given. Apart from this, the Pay Commission will visit Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir (UT) from June 1 to June 4, 2026 (Monday to Thursday). Organizations, institutions and unions/associations who wish to interact with the Commission in Srinagar must submit their memorandum and meeting request before May 16, 2026.

At the same time, the Pay Commission will visit the Union Territory of Ladakh on 8 June 2026 (Monday). Concerned stakeholders from Central Government organisations/institutions and Ladakh based unions/associations can submit memorandum and seek appointment before May 16, 2026. The Pay Commission will also hold separate meetings in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh and cities of other States/Union Territories (UTs) at appropriate times. This deadline has been extended

Meanwhile, the Pay Commission has extended the deadline for submission of memorandum from April 30, 2026 to Sunday, May 31, 2026. Let us tell you that last year the Eighth Pay Commission was constituted for central employees. The Pay Commission launched the website in February this year. All updates can be taken from the Pay Commission through the website. The recommendations of the Pay Commission are expected to be implemented from January 1, 2026.
