Mohammad Abbas, WI vs PAK 1st Test: The first Test match being played between West Indies and Pakistan has reached a very exciting turn. After scoring 311 runs in the first innings, the second innings of the West Indies team, which had achieved a slight lead by bundling out Pakistan for 282 runs, fell apart like a pack of cards. The Caribbean batsmen could not stand against the sharp bowling of Pakistan’s 36-year-old experienced fast bowler Mohammad Abbas and the entire team collapsed for just 181 runs in the second innings.

Mohammad Abbas remained an enigma for the West Indies batsmen in the second innings of the match. In his 15.5 over spell, he bowled 6 maiden overs and gave only 22 runs and took 5 important wickets. In this innings, Abbas showed the way to the pavilion by making Brandon King, Kavem Hodge, Justin Greaves, Kemar Roach and Jomel Warrican his victims. Mohammad Abbas’s performance in this match was quite excellent. Even in the first innings, he had dismissed 3 Caribbean batsmen. In this way he was successful in taking a total of 8 wickets in this first test match.
This is the 7th 5-wicket haul of his Test cricket career, which has brought Pakistan out of a difficult situation and leveled the match.
