Every day, Thana Ram takes his place along the busy Barmer–Batadu route, where he fills bottles with cool drinking water for bus passengers, taxi drivers, and weary passers-by. In a region where temperatures frequently soar between 45 and 47 degrees Celsius during summer, his simple gesture becomes a relief for those travelling under the relentless desert sun.

The viral clip captures the elderly man passing water bottles to passengers sitting inside a bus and anyone crossing the route.

 For 21 years, Thana Ram has carried out this act of kindness without expecting recognition, praise, or financial reward.
