A case of gang rape of a 19 -year -old girl has come to light in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The woman told the family that on March 29, her boyfriend had taken her with a hookah bar of Maldhiya. The rest of his companions were also there. Two of them were familiar with the girl. Whereas, she did not know the rest.
In the hookah bars, they gave the girl to the girl by drinking intoxicating beverages. For 7 days, those people gang-raped the girl from hookah bars to different hotels. The police have arrested some accused. The search for the rest is going on.
According to the information, the girl from Hukulganj in Lalpur-Pandey Pur police station area was missing since March 29. The housemates had lodged a missing report at the police station. On the evening of April 4, the police recovered the girl.
Used to practice running
The girl was preparing for admission in BPED. Also used to go to college for running. The victim told the police- she had a friendship with a young man named Sajid on Instagram. The young man also got friendship with his other friends. On March 29, boyfriend Sajid called him to meet him. Then after that, he did wrong things for 7 days with his colleagues.

Some accused have been arrested. Three police teams are constantly raiding to hold the hold of other accused. The police also raided the hookah bar and the hotel where this scandal was carried out. Since the accused include youths of other communities, the police is taking the matter with great sensitivity.
Arrest of 6 accused
On 6/7 April, the police have registered a case on the tahrir of family members. Based on the information received by the police from the woman, the police have arrested 6 accused. The arrested accused also include a person associated with hookah bar. The police commissioner of Varanasi has directed to take action against all the hotels and hookah bars in this case, where wrongdoing was done with the woman. On the basis of CCTV footage, the police is also trying to identify others.
