Sanju scored a double century
Indian team’s wicketkeeper batsman Sanju Samson had created a stir with his batting in domestic cricket before international cricket. While playing for the Kerala team in the Ranji Trophy in 2013, he had defeated the Assam bowlers a lot.
Batting for Kerala, he played a stormy innings of 211 runs. He hit 23 fours and five sixes against the Assam bowlers, with the help of which his team’s score reached 336. Although this match was a draw. Sanju is a batsman who took his team to the playoffs in IPL.
Even though Samson may not be a big name in international cricket, Sanju has achieved a different position in T20 and domestic cricket.
Sanju’s international cricket career
Talking about Sanju’s international career, till now he has played only 16 ODI and 33 T20 matches for Team India. He has scored 510 runs in ODI matches at an average of 56.66, while in 33 T20 matches he has scored 594 runs at an average of 22.84. Samson has not yet debuted in Test cricket.
