Maruti Suzuki has recently launched its best -selling car WagonR with 6 Airbag. Now every single model of the car will get 6 airbags. However, the price of the car has also increased with the new update. Now each model has been increased by Rs 14,000. Although Wingr has now become more safe than before, because some safety features have also been added to it.
The increased price on Maruti WagonR has come into effect from 8 April 2025. The company had already announced that it would increase the price by 4 percent from April on all its models. Maruti cited the increasing input cost and feature update behind it as the reason for this. Now the ex -showroom price of Maruti WagonR starts from Rs 5.79 lakh and for the top model 7.36 lakh rupees goes to ex -showroom.

Maruti WagonR Safety Features
Maruti has also updated WagonR with Standard 6 airbags in addition to E20 fuel engine. E20 fuel contains 20 percent ethanol and 80 percent petrol. For safety, now all variants have EBD, ESP, Central Locking and Rear Parking sensors with ABS. The 2025 update model has a three-point rear center seatbelt for rear seats. There has been no change in Wagon RK exterior and cabin. Some features include electric operations ORVMs, 14-inch alloy wheels, dual-tone dashboard, steering-mounted audio control and 7-inch touchscreen with Apple Carplay and Android Auto.
