Mangala Gauri Vrat 2026: The month of Sawan has started from today. This month will end on 28th August, on the full moon day of Saavan month. Devotion to Lord Shiva in Sawan is considered very beneficial. Jalabhishek and Rudrabhishek have special significance in this month. Mondays falling in Sawan are also considered very special. In this month, fast is observed on Sawan Monday. In the year 2026, 03, 10, 17 and 24 August are Monday.

- First Mangala Gauri Vrat: 4 August 2026, Tuesday
- Second Mangala Gauri Vrat: 11 August 2026, Tuesday
- Third Mangala Gauri Vrat: 18 August 2026, Tuesday
- Fourth Mangala Gauri Vrat: 25 August 2026, Tuesday
First Mangala Gauri Vrat 2026 auspicious time
On the first day of Mangala Gauri Vrat, three auspicious yogas, Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga, Amrit Siddhi Yoga and Ravi Yoga will be formed. All these yogas will last from 09:54 pm to 05:45 pm the next day i.e. on 05th August. On this day Brahma Muhurta will be from 4.20 am to 05.02 am. Abhijeet Muhurta will be from 12 noon to 12.54 pm. Generally, the appropriate time for worship will be from 9.06 am to 2.08 pm.
These auspicious coincidences will occur on the second and fourth Mangala Gauri fast.
The second Mangala Gauri Vrat will be observed on 11th August. The festival of Sawan Shivratri will also be celebrated on this day. In such a situation, there will be a coincidence of Mangala Gauri Vrat and Sawan Shivratri on this day. Besides, there will be a coincidence of Siddhi Yoga on this day. There will be a coincidence with the fast of Bhaum Pradosh on 25th August, the day of fourth Mangala Gauri fast.
Mangala Gauri Vrat Puja Method
- On the day of Mangala Gauri Vrat, wake up early in the morning, take bath and wear clean clothes.
- After this, clean the place of worship and place the idol or picture of Goddess Parvati.
- Along with this, also worship Lord Shiva.
- During the puja, offer red clothes, red flowers, vermillion, kumkum, akshat and wedding utensils to Goddess Parvati.
- After this, offer fruits and sweets to the mother.
- Perform Aarti of Goddess Parvati with devotion and pray to her for family happiness and marital happiness.
