The firm came across this information during its regular dark web monitoring.
The company claims that the documents put up for sale include many confidential files related to the defense sector. These also contain documents related to missile systems. According to the report, some of the documents shown as samples also have signatures of scientists. However, the government has not yet confirmed the authenticity of these documents. Cyber experts have demanded immediate digital forensic investigation in this matter. This report has raised serious questions regarding the security of the country.
It is being claimed that the 31 GB files kept for sale contain many very sensitive documents. ‘Restricted’ is also written on one of these documents, which appears to be from a completed project in the country. A price of US $ 8000 (about Rs 6.6 lakh) is being asked for all these files.
