Renault Bridger Petrol and Hybrid

Renault Bridger is an important part of this strategy of the company. This SUV will have a strong, boxy design and its road presence will also be quite strong. It will get good ground clearance and plenty of space. The car will be powered by a new 1.2-litre 4-cylinder petrol and turbo-petrol engine, which is claimed to be the smoothest engine in its segment. The company says that it will give a bumper mileage of 30 kilometers per liter.

Renault Bridger EV

Apart from petrol-hybrid, the company will also bring a fully-electric version “Bridger EV”. It may come to India by 2028. This budget electric car can prove to be a game-changer in the market. It will offer customers two battery pack options: 35 kWh and 55 kWh. The smaller battery pack will offer a realistic range of around 300 to 350 kilometers on a single charge, while the larger battery pack will offer a whopping range of up to 500 kilometers.

SUV based on Nissan’s Bridger

After the launch of Renault Bridger, partner company Nissan will also launch its new sub-compact SUV on the same platform. From inside, this car will be very similar to Renault Bridger, but Nissan will give it a different and unique look with its special styling. Engine options will include the same 1.2-litre refined naturally aspirated petrol engine, a powerful turbo-petrol engine and a hybrid system offering a mileage of 30 kmpl.

EV based on Nissan’s Bridger

Nissan will also introduce its first mass-market electric SUV based on the Bridger. This car may hit the roads in late 2027 or early 2028. It will directly compete with cars like Renault Bridger EV and Tata Nexon EV. This electric car will share the same platform as Renault and will also have battery options with a range of up to 500 km and Google’s advanced software architecture. However, to give a different experience to the customers, Nissan will give a completely new and futuristic look to its front and rear design.
