In the third and last match of the T20 series played in Chattogram, Australia defeated Bangladesh badly and captured the series 3-0. Earlier, Bangladesh had defeated Australia in the ODI series, but in the T20 format, the Kangaroo team showed complete dominance. With this, Australia also took revenge for the ODI series defeat from Bangladesh.

In this match, Bangladesh team came to bat first and could score only 109 runs even after playing 20 overs. Bangladesh continued to struggle with T20 defeats at home and its batting once again proved to be weak.
