According to the police, when Riya’s mother went to call her for dinner on Tuesday afternoon, the door of the room did not open. After this the family broke the door and entered inside, where Riya was found dead. On receiving information, police reached the spot and started investigation.

During investigation, a note was also recovered from the room. According to police officials, no other person has been held responsible. The matter is being investigated from all aspects.

Senior police officer Ankit Kandari said that initial investigation has revealed frustration and stress regarding studies. Rhea had scored 97 percent marks in Class 12 and was preparing for the NEET-UG re-exam to be held on June 21. It is being told that she could not crack the medical entrance examination in the first attempt.
