With 2027 Hayabusa, Suzuki has given it a cosmetic refresh.
2027 Suzuki Hayabusa
The Suzuki Hayabusa is currently in its third generation model and has been well received by the target demographic. In India, Hayabusa is affectionately known as Dhoom bike, owing to its feature in Bollywood blockbuster Dhoom in 2004. Suzuki has carried forward the mechanicals and electronics package of Hayabusa with MY2027 update.
What has changed with the 2027 Hayabusa is the colour palette of this sports tourer. There are two standard colours – Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Reflective Blue. Then there is a Special Edition colour with 2027 Hayabusa, which gets a Pearl Brilliant White and Metallic Oort Grey combination, complimented by Red highlights.
The Special Edition gets more exclusive elements too. Some of these are Special Edition badges to show exclusivity, 3D raised Suzuki logo on the fuel tank, colour matched seat cowl and black exhaust end caps. Both Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Reflective Blue get Black wheels, while Special Edition gets Red wheels.
has not confirmed whether these new colours will make their way to our market. Nor the launch timeline if they are. It has to be noted that Hayabusa is priced at Rs 18.05 lakh (Ex-sh) in India.
Remains Mechanically Identical
Mechanical and electronics package of 2027 Suzuki Hayabusa remains the same as before as the MY27 update is merely cosmetic. For starters, 2027 Hayabusa retains the same 1,340cc liquid-cooled engine which is an in-line four-cylinder unit. It is rated at 190 bhp and 150 Nm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Electronics package still consists of a host of rider aids. Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (SIRS) electronics suite is present too. Notable among the electronics are dual channel ABS, cornering ABS, multiple riding modes, launch control, cruise control, traction control and even a bi-directional quick-shifter.
