While our previous report focused on its rear design, the latest photographs provide a clearer look at the front fascia and a first glimpse inside the cabin. These lights feature multiple stacked segments, giving the test vehicle a distinctive appearance. However, camouflage continues to obscure the complete headlamp arrangement, making it difficult to establish which sections will serve as the final daytime running lights and main beams. Lower down, an opening in the bumper is visible beneath the temporary registration plate. Much of the upper fascia remains covered, concealing the grille treatment

Long Roofline, Upright Rear Profile

Side view spy shots provide a clearer view of YMC’s long roofline, conventional door handles and sizeable rear doors. A tall glasshouse and an upright rear section further underline its people-mover proportions. Camouflage also covers the lower doors and wheel arches, concealing the extent of any contrasting body cladding.

At the rear, the latest spy shots show the individual rectangular lighting sections more clearly. These sit within a horizontal arrangement extending across the tailgate area. A connected tail-light treatment remains possible, although the central section is still covered.

Other visible elements include a shark-fin antenna, rear wiper, high-mounted stop lamp, bumper-mounted reflectors and circular parking sensors. The broad tailgate and relatively upright rear glass suggest an emphasis on practicality, while the long rear overhang could help accommodate a third row.

NEXA NEXTre Lighting Signature At Front And Rear

The latest spy shots suggest Maruti YMC will feature an interpretation of the NEXTré lighting signature seen on Nexa models and Fronx. At the front, three stacked illuminated elements are visible at either end of the fascia, giving the familiar segmented theme a more vertical treatment.

The rear lamp clusters also reveal three distinct sections, suggesting a coordinated lighting identity at both ends. These sit within a horizontal arrangement across the tailgate, although camouflage prevents confirmation of an illuminated connecting strip. This visual connection strengthens the possibility of Nexa positioning for the upcoming electric MPV.

First Glimpse Inside The Cabin, eVitara Connection

Spy shot of the dashboard reveals setup will house the infotainment touchscreen as well as the instrument cluster. It looks a lot similar to the one offered with eVitara. YMC is expected to share its underlying architecture with the eVitara, potentially using the Heartect-e/27PL platform.

Sharing electric components could help Maruti Suzuki expand its EV portfolio with a larger family-focused offering. Battery and motor options could also have links with the eVitara. A launch in 2027 is expected.
