2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R launched at Rs 11.09 lakh(ex-showroom). The 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R made its debut at India Bike Week 2023 in December just a month after it was officially unveiled at EICMA 2023.
The 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R brings with it a few upgrades which come in the form of updated aesthetics, new tech and an emissions-compliant engine. The design changes come in the form of an updated front fascia with a new front cowl, LED headlights and turn signals and updated fairing.
The tech upgrades come in the form of a new 4.3-inch TFT full colour display which offers smartphone connectivity through the Rideology app. The display is also where you can see the change in riding modes and the entire instrumentation.
The 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R continues to sport its raucous 636cc, inline four-cylinder dual-overhead camshaft engine that pushes out 127.6bhp at 13,000rpm and 69Nm of peak torque at 11,000rpm.
The BS-VI emission norms-compliant engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The new Ninja ZX-6R is equipped with an assist and slipper clutch as well as a quick-shifter which Kawasaki says allows for ultra-quick, full power upshifts and seamless acceleration.
The new Ninja ZX-6R also features the Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC) system that allows for three riding modes – Sport, Road and Rain. The 2024 ZX-6R continues to sport a pressed aluminium perimeter frame suspended off adjustable Showa USD forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear.
The new 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R rides on 17-inch alloy wheels that come draped with Pirelli’s Diablo Rosso IV tyres. These sporty tyres come in at – 120/70 (front) and 180/55 (rear).
Braking duties are handled by twin 320mm discs at the front clamped down by dual radial-mounted 4-piston monobloc callipers while the rear features a 220mm disc clamped down by a single-piston calliper. The brakes are aided by Kawasaki’s updated dual-channel ABS system.
The 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is offered in two colourways – Lime Green and Metallic Graphite Gray.
