Heavy violence broke out in Assam’s Baksa district after five accused arrested in the case of Zubin Garg’s death were sent to jail. People gathered outside the jail raised slogans of “Justice for Zubeen” and pelted stones at the vehicles and set several vehicles on fire. The main accused include Shyamkanu Mahanta, Zubin’s manager Siddharth Sharma, his cousin and suspended APS officer Sandipan Garg, along with two PSOs. Police have deployed heavy force to bring the situation under control. This incident has shocked the entire Assam and has once again raised the question – will Zubin Garg get justice?
