Uttarkashi cloudburst: Dharali village of Uttarakhand caused havoc after a cloudburst on Tuesday. He screamed everywhere. In a few seconds, the water flood took away the houses and hatches like straws and left only the havoc marks everywhere. Many people were swept away in that waterclass. In this flood too, there was some lucky one who was successful in saving his life. In a video, it can be seen how two people were successful in saving their lives between mud and debris.

Actually, a video after a village was swept away in a few seconds due to cloudburst. In this video, two people in the village can be seen struggling for life. In the video, voices like Bhag Bhai Bhaag can also be heard which was excited inside them. However, not all were lucky like these two people. This devastation killed at least four people while more than 50 were swept away or the debris is stuck in the mud. The village is very close to the catchment area of Kheer Ganga river where the clouds erupted. The entire village was swept away after a huge stream of water erupted after cloudburst. There is a main stop on the way to Dharali Gangotri and there are many hotels, restaurants and home stays here. At least 20-25 hotels and home stays have been washed away.

Rescue teams reached village, army also took command
The rescue work is in full swing after the destruction after cloudburst. The army was on the spot within ten minutes of the incident. Army soldiers started medical help with the help of Special Medical Equipments etc. Army soldiers rescued at least 20 people. Three teams of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) are on the spot. NDRF has also arrived for help. Brigade Commander Brigadier Mandeep Dhillon said that the Indian Army contingent at Harshil Post was the first to give the response and reach the village within 10 minutes and started the rescue operation. About 150 jawans in this contingent are with special medical equipment, rescue equipment and doctors and are engaged in saving the villagers.
