The Yogi government has extended the period of ‘Samarth Uttar Pradesh -developed Uttar Pradesh 2047’ campaign. The first time limit was expired, but now this initiative will continue till 30 October 2025. Its aim is that more and more people of the state can directly contribute to deciding the direction of development of the next two decades by giving their opinion and suggestions.
14 lakh suggestions received so far, participation of youth is at the forefront
So far, more than 14 lakh suggestions have reached the government under this ambitious campaign. Of these, 11 lakh opinions have come from rural areas, while 3 lakh people from urban areas have registered their participation. This figure is proof of how serious the people of the state are about their future roadmap.
The enthusiasm of the youth was the highest among those who suggested. So far, more than 6 lakh opinions have been given by youth below 31 years of age. At the same time, 7 lakh suggestions have come from the age group of 31 to 60 years and senior citizens above 60 years have filed about 1 lakh suggestions.

Which area received the most suggestions
- Education sector: more than 4.5 lakh suggestions
- Agriculture: More than 3 lakh suggestions
- Health, Social Welfare and Rural -Divine Development: Over 1–1 lakh opinion
- IT and Industry: 40-40 thousand suggestions
- Security related: More than 30 thousand suggestions
It is clear from these data that the priority of the public is focused on basic areas like education and agriculture, which will decide the direction of the state in the coming decades.
Chief Minister’s emphasis: Dialogue with village heads
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directly interacted with the village heads to increase public participation in the campaign. The village heads have been instructed to connect the villagers with this initiative and motivate more and more people to enter their suggestions by going to the portal.
The government says that the vision document of ‘developed Uttar Pradesh 2047’ will be prepared on the basis of the suggestions and views of the public. This document will be a blueprint for the development of the state and will decide the direction of making Uttar Pradesh a developed state in the next 20 years.
