Youdha Epod: India’s Electric Warrior Makes a Powerful Debut in L5 Segment

New Delhi, July 17, 2025 – Youdha has officially entered the rapidly growing electric mobility space with the launch of the Youdha Epod, a next-generation electric three-wheeler in the L5 passenger segment.

This bold move places Youdha among top EV makers such as Mahindra, Bajaj, and TVS, and marks its evolution from a legacy e-rickshaw brand to a modern, performance-driven EV company.

The Youdha Epod offers a certified range of 227 km, powered by an 11.8 kWh lithium-ion LFP battery and a 6 kW motor generating 55 Nm torque. Designed to meet Indian road conditions, it features City and Boost drive modes, 300 mm water-wading capacity, and a stylish, ergonomic design-all aimed at drivers seeking both performance and durability with low running costs.

The vehicle is proudly Made in India at Youdha’s advanced manufacturing facility in Kashipur, Uttarakhand, with a capacity of 1 lakh units annually. Currently launching in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Assam, Youdha plans a phased pan-India rollout in the coming quarters.
