CM Yogi Adityanath made a big announcement on the Mahaparinirvan Day of Baba Saheb Ambedkar. Boundary wall and canopy will be installed for the protection of all Ambedkar statues in UP. Besides, minimum honorarium will be guaranteed to class IV, contract and sanitation workers.
Lucknow’s morning started with a different seriousness today. Amidst the crowd gathered in the premises of Ambedkar Mahasabha Trust, the huge blue colored pandal and the songs resonating on the stage, the atmosphere was exactly the same as on the day of Mahaparinirvan of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, serious, inspiring and leading to introspection. From this platform, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made an important announcement for Uttar Pradesh, which changed the focus of the entire program.
All Ambedkar statues installed in the state will be protected, boundary wall will be built, umbrella will be installed
CM Yogi said that often some anti-social elements try to damage the statues of Baba Saheb, and this is not just the damage of a statue but an attack on social respect and constitutional values. Therefore, the state government will ensure that wherever Ambedkar’s statues are installed, a strong boundary wall is built for security. It has also been decided to install umbrellas over all the idols, so that their safety can be ensured in every season and every situation.
CM Yogi called it an important step to protect social respect and historical heritage.

CM Yogi said that Baba Saheb had warned at that time also that the thoughts of a person who does not consider the land of India as sacred even after being born in India, cannot be in the interest of the people of India.
CM Yogi alleged that political parties which follow the policy of appeasement are not only against the national interest but also insult the principles of Baba Saheb.
‘Baba Saheb paved the way to provide a dignified life to the underprivileged’

‘Justice, equality and fraternity, Modi government is running on these values’
CM Yogi said that today Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government is implementing the basic principles of justice, equality and fraternity written in the Preamble of the Constitution at the grassroots level. Extending the schemes to every poor, Dalit, backward, woman and youth without discrimination is an extension of this ideology.
He termed ration, housing, toilets, Ayushman health facility and housing scheme as the fulfillment of Baba Saheb’s dreams.
‘Government’s priority to connect every Dalit and slum with the mainstream’
The Chief Minister said that the State Government is working rapidly to provide connectivity and basic facilities to all the Dalits and slums located in rural and urban areas. He assured that wherever there is some deficiency, it will also be filled soon.
