Government strict on love jihad and illegal conversion
The Chief Minister said that the conspiracies going on in the name of Love Jihad to change demography and target daughters will be stopped with full force. This is not just a matter of law, but also a question of social awareness. He appealed to the saint community to come forward and make the families cultured. Referring to a famous 2009 decision of the Kerala High Court, Yogi Adityanath said that today similar organized efforts are being seen in many parts of the country.
CM Yogi expressed concern that the tradition of joint families is gradually weakening, whereas this system used to culture and empower the society. He said that building a strong nation is possible only through a strong family, cultural consciousness and respect for religion. Religion is not just a way of worship, but a way of physical, spiritual and cultural upliftment of life.
