Yogi government’s one stop centers are making neglected women self-reliant by providing them justice, counseling and skill training. Till now 2.39 lakh women have been benefited, many are bringing glory to the state by becoming judges, doctors and professionals.
Lucknow. When the women who were victims of neglect by their loved ones got the support of the One Stop Center of the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath government, they took their dreams to new heights. It is true that where there is a will, there is a way. Today, Yogi government’s One Stop Center is showing the same path to the women neglected by the society.
Lakhs of women got the opportunity to become self-reliant
Lakhs of women in the state are not only giving a new direction to their lives through one stop centres, but are also bringing glory to Uttar Pradesh. This center has become a strong source of inspiration for half of the population i.e. women. Similarly, a woman, who, after being neglected by her loved ones, took the help of One Stop Centre, succeeded in the Bihar PCS-J examination on the strength of her dedication and hard work and surprised everyone.
Trauma counseling facility in one stop center
Director of Women Welfare Department, Sandeep Kaur said that the Double Engine Government is providing all possible assistance through One Stop Center to connect the neglected and needy women with the mainstream of the society across the state. He informed that at present 94 one stop centers are operating in the state. In the last eight and a half years, through these centres, 2.39 lakh women were provided speedy justice and made self-reliant.
Focus on self-reliance along with justice
The director said that in the One Stop Center, women not only get justice, but their trauma counseling is also done. When women become mentally normal, they are linked to various schemes of Yogi government. Along with this, women are given training in various courses to make them self-reliant and they are linked to the skill development mission.
Skill development mission changed women’s lives
Under the Skill Development Mission, lakhs of women and daughters have been given training in many courses including hotel management, mobile repairing, beauty parlor, sewing and embroidery. After completing the training, a large number of women are earning an income of Rs 15 to 20 thousand per month.
Getting training and employment from renowned companies
The director said that many reputed companies like Lakme Salon, Starbucks and five star hotels are also training women. The result is that today many women are employed in five star hotels, Starbucks coffee houses and Lakme salons. Presently a daughter from Lucknow is working as a supervisor in a five star hotel.
Created history by becoming PCS-J and Medical Officer
The one stop centers of the Yogi government also provide every necessary facility to the daughters and women to continue their studies. As a result of this, a daughter from Lucknow brought glory to the state by achieving success in Bihar PCS-J examination. Apart from this, recently a daughter has joined the post of Medical Officer in the Homeopathic Wing of the AYUSH Department.
Honored at national level
The One Stop Center of Lucknow, run by the Yogi government, was awarded the Nari Shakti Award by the President for its excellent work in the year 2019. Last year, on March 8, the One Stop Center of Lucknow was also honored by the Governor.
