Yogi government is taking big steps towards digitalizing AYUSH medicine. AYUSH app will be developed in collaboration with IIT Kanpur, which will provide facilities like online OPD, appointment, treatment information and in future tele-consultation.
Lucknow. Yogi government is continuously working towards giving new identity to AYUSH medical systems in the country and the world. In this sequence, as per the intention of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the AYUSH Department is now going to register its strong presence on the digital platform also. Under this, the AYUSH department will develop a modern AYUSH app in collaboration with IIT Kanpur.
Online OPD facility will be available through AYUSH app
Through the proposed AYUSH app, patients will get the facility of online OPD registration and appointment. Now patients will not have to stand in long queues for registration in AYUSH hospitals and centres. You can book an appointment with a doctor sitting at home through your mobile. This initiative will not only increase the convenience of patients but will also reduce crowding in hospitals.
Big relief to elderly, women and remote patients
AYUSH Principal Secretary Ranjan Kumar said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath intends to make AYUSH medical systems easily accessible to every person. For this purpose, talks are going on with IIT Kanpur to develop AYUSH app. He said that with the launch of the app, senior citizens, women and patients coming from remote areas will benefit the most. They will be able to get better health services by saving time and resources.
Complete information related to AYUSH will be available on one app
On this AYUSH app, detailed information related to all AYUSH medical systems like Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy will be made available to the patients. The app will include the following features-
- Information on AYUSH treatment for various diseases
- Details of medicines and medical procedures
- List of nearest Ayush hospitals and dispensaries
- doctors information
- health tips
- Details of schemes and programs of AYUSH department
The app will be safe, easy and reliable
The app will be designed in such a way that common citizens can use it easily. It will be made fast, secure and user friendly, so that the health data of the patients remains completely safe. The aim of the AYUSH department is to further strengthen transparency and trust in health services through digital medium.
Tele consultation and digital report facilities will be added in future
The AYUSH app will be developed keeping in mind the future needs. There are plans to add facilities like tele-consultation, online medical report, digital health records in the coming time. With this, patients will be able to take advice from expert doctors sitting at home and people’s faith in AYUSH medical systems will be further strengthened.
