Lucknow. Yogi government is going to organize AI Led Innovation and Capacity Building Conference with the aim of encouraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) based innovation and future skills in the state.
This conference will be organized by the Center for e-Governance under the Department of IT and Electronics on January 20 at Hotel Centrum. In the conference, there will be extensive brainstorming on innovation, capacity building and employment-oriented skill development related to AI, digital skills and future skills.
Focus on collaboration between industry-government-academic institutions
Principal Secretary, IT and Electronics, Shri Anurag Yadav said that the main objective of this conference is to promote AI based innovation in the state, empower the digital capabilities of youth and government officials, and strengthen collaboration between industry, government and educational institutions. In the program, representatives of leading technology companies and institutes from the country and the world will share their experiences, solutions and case studies.
Discussion on Bhashini platform and multilingual digital empowerment
In the first session of the conference, presentations will be made on the ‘Bhasini’ platform of the Government of India. It will discuss multilingual digital empowerment, role of language technology in citizen services and inclusive digital services through AI.
Participation of Google, Microsoft, TCS and HCL
After this, global companies like Microsoft, TCS, HCL, Google, Wadhwani Foundation and Intel will present their ideas and successful experiments related to AI, skill development, digital ecosystem and industry-ready talent.
Special session on MOU and Future Skills Prime
Ms. Neha Jain, Special Secretary, IT and Electronics Department, said that in the afternoon session, the state’s IT policy, startup ecosystem and opportunities available for the youth will be highlighted. The major highlights of the event will be the presentation on NASSCOM’s Future Skills Prime program and the signing of MoU between Center for e-Governance and NASSCOM. This agreement will play an important role in training the youth of the state in emerging technologies, developing industry-useful skills and creating new employment opportunities.
Expert Presentations on AI, Cloud and Digital Learning
Organizations like NVIDIA, Red Hat, 1M1B (One Million for One Billion) Foundation, Sify Technologies and Coursera will be presenting on AI, cloud computing, open-source technologies, digital learning and global skills platforms at the conference.
AI Pragya initiative will give new direction to AI literacy
In the last phase of the conference, a special presentation on ‘AI Pragya’ initiative will be given by the Department of IT and Electronics. This initiative is being considered an important step towards AI literacy and capacity building in the state.
