Yogi government’s big announcement: Now UP will build high-rise courts, no more broken chambers. Up Integrated Court Complex Cji Yogi Adityanath

In Chandauli, CM Yogi and Chief Justice Surya Kant laid the foundation stone of the integrated court complex of six districts of UP. The CM said that there will be no delay in judicial work and advocates will get modern facilities including high-rise chambers.

Once upon a time, cases were prepared in lawyers’ chambers with broken roofs, now high-rise buildings will stand on the same land. Where common people used to wander, there will now be arrangements ranging from court, chamber, parking to canteen in a single complex. The Uttar Pradesh government has taken a big step towards ushering the judiciary infrastructure into the new era.

On Saturday, in Chandauli, the country’s Chief Justice Justice Surya Kant laid the foundation stone and performed the bhoomi pujan of the integrated court complex of Chandauli, Mahoba, Amethi, Shamli, Hathras and Auraiya districts in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Welcoming all the judges in the program, the Chief Minister said that this is not just a program of laying the stone, but the beginning of a historic change in the judicial journey of Uttar Pradesh.

Strong judiciary is necessary for democracy: CM Yogi

CM Yogi said that the first condition of good governance is that the common citizen should get justice easily and on time. There is no delay in judicial work in UP, because the government gives top priority to the courts. He said that the more capable and strong the judiciary is, the deeper the roots of democracy will be.

The model of justice is changing in UP

The Chief Minister said that five years ago, the Supreme Court had suggested that by implementing the Integrated Court Complex model in the country, such complexes should be built where courts, advocates’ chambers, residences of judicial officers, parking, canteen and other facilities are available at one place. Based on this concept, the project has been started in six districts of UP. This model will be implemented in four more districts in the coming months.

Lawyers’ Chamber in High Rise Building

CM Yogi said that now the litigant will not have to stand in the sun or wind to meet the advocate. Modern chambers will be built in place of the old dilapidated chambers. The construction work will be done by a reputed organization like L&T, which will ensure both quality and timelines.

Full support of the government, no shortage in the budget

The Chief Minister made it clear that the government is fully committed to strengthening the judicial structure. He said, “The government has no shortage of money. Just increase the pace of work, you will get full support.”

CM Yogi said that this journey that started in Chandauli will be recorded in golden letters in the judicial history of India. Senior Justice Vikram Nath, Justice Pankaj Mithal, Justice Manoj Mishra, Justice Rajesh Bindal, Allahabad High Court Chief Justice Arun Bhansali, Senior Justice Mahesh Chandra Tripathi were also present during the program.
