CM Yogi Adityanath announced the establishment of the state’s first Forestry and Horticulture Science University in Campierganj. This university will provide employment opportunities to the youth and help in increasing the income of farmers.

Gorakhpur. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that the state’s first Forestry and Horticulture University, which is going to be built in Campierganj, will open new avenues of employment for the youth. Wide job opportunities will be available in the country and abroad for the students taking degree and diploma from here. He said that this university will not only be a center of education, but will also play an important role in increasing the income of farmers. The Chief Minister was addressing the public meeting after inaugurating the renovated BDO office in Jangal Kauria block on Saturday.

Giddharaj Jatayu Conservation Center and sense of gratitude in Indian culture

Referring to the Giddharaj Jatayu Conservation Center built in Campierganj, CM Yogi said that expressing gratitude is the identity of Indian culture. He said that when Ravana was abducting Mother Sita, the vulture king Jatayu was the first to oppose him. Jatayu is also considered the vehicle of Lord Vishnu. The Chief Minister said that the number of vultures is continuously decreasing due to excessive use of chemical medicines and pesticides. In such a situation, a special center has been established in Campierganj for their conservation, which is an important step towards environmental protection.

Forestry University will be helpful in environmental protection and dealing with air pollution

The Chief Minister said that the biggest challenge facing the world today is environmental pollution. Air pollution has a serious impact on people’s health. Giving the example of Delhi, he said that doctors there advise children, elderly and asthma patients not to leave the house. He said that along with development in Uttar Pradesh, work is also being done towards clean environment. The Forestry and Horticulture University to be built in Campierganj will prove important for increasing forest area, environmental protection and increasing the income of farmers.

Rapid development in Gorakhpur after 2017: Fertilizer factory, AIIMS and industries got a boost

The Chief Minister said that when intentions are clear, good results emerge automatically. After the year 2017, many big development works have taken place in Gorakhpur. The closed fertilizer factory has restarted, health services are being provided in AIIMS Gorakhpur, BRD Medical College has become a medical center of excellence. Pipraich’s sugar mill started again, compressed bio gas plant was established in Dhuriyapar and new industries have come up in Gida area. He said that this thinking of development is necessary for the bright future of the present and coming generations.

Extensive expansion of infrastructure in Jangal Kauria and Campierganj

The Chief Minister mentioned his connection with every village of Jangal Kauria block. He said that he has gone to every village here and got to know the problems of the people closely. Even during the flood, he reached out directly to the people. He said that with the construction of Kalesar-Jungle Kauria Bypass, the distance to Lucknow has been reduced and it can be reached in three to three and a half hours. Kushinagar can be reached from Chiutha in just half an hour. The major roads of the area have been four-lane and a permanent solution to the flood problem is being provided.

Picture changed due to education, sports and social welfare schemes

A degree college has been established in the memory of respected Brahmalin Mahant Avedyanath Ji Maharaj in Jangal Kauria, where more than 2000 students are studying. With the stadium and wrestling training facilities, youth are getting the opportunity to progress in sports. Under the government schemes, facilities like housing, toilets, free ration, Ayushman Bharat and pension have been provided to the eligible people.

Tribute to former chief Rampati Yadav, appreciation of the works of the current chief

Remembering the former block chief of Jangal Kauria, late Rampati Yadav, the Chief Minister said that he served the public for a long time. The works of current block chief Brijesh Yadav were also appreciated. He said that by properly utilizing the block funds and schemes, arrangements for air-conditioned auditorium and solar panels have been made in the block building. The Chief Minister also praised the development of Bharohiya block and said that there will be no let up in the development works.

Claims to become Asia’s largest forestry university

Campierganj MLA Fateh Bahadur Singh said that with the inspiration of the Chief Minister, Asia’s largest forestry university is going to be built here. Its foundation stone will be laid soon. Uttar Pradesh Fisheries Corporation Chairman Ramakant Nishad, Purvanchal Development Board member Vijay Shankar Yadav, District Minister Sadanand Sharma and many public representatives were present in the program.

Inspection of reconstruction work and plantation

Before the program, the Chief Minister inspected the reconstruction work done in the Jangal Kauria block complex. He offered flowers at the martyr memorial site and the statue of late Rampati Yadav. Also gave the message of environmental protection by planting Rudraksha saplings. Wishing everyone a happy Mahashivratri, he said that this festival is a symbol of auspiciousness and positive energy.
