Yogi government is working rapidly on security, heritage conservation, education, tourism and infrastructure in Sambhal. Many innovative initiatives are underway to make Sambhal culturally and economically strong.
Lucknow. The image of Sambhal is changing rapidly under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath government. Sambhal, which earlier faced neglect and stress, is now making steady progress in security, education, industry and infrastructure. The police is ensuring peace by communicating with the common people, while with the development of tourism and culture, Sambhal is moving towards its glorious past and bright future. The government has set five major dimensions for the development of Sambhal. Now migration has almost ended here because the rule of law is effectively established.
Heritage Conservation: Sambhal’s ancient faith places are getting new identity
Yogi government is reviving the religious and historical heritage of Sambhal. Brahmakupa, neglected due to occupation and neglect, has been revived. Recently, while reviewing development projects, Chief Minister Yogi laid special emphasis on the conservation of 68 pilgrimages and 19 wells of Sambhal.
In the first phase, the work of revival of ancient shrines and wells is going on. In the second phase, tourism development works like museum, light and sound show will be done. Land purchase process is underway for the development of 12 major pilgrimage sites (like Kurukshetra, Naimisharanya, Manokamna Tirtha). A proposal to release Rs 12.94 crore has been sent to the government.
Infrastructure Development: Law and order strengthened, migration stopped
Yogi government is rapidly increasing public facilities and infrastructural development in Sambhal. An integrated collectorate building will be established in Sambhal. In the meeting of departments related to police, justice and administration, the CM had given instructions to speed up land acquisition for the establishment of District Court, District Jail and 24th Corps PAC.
Expansion of public facilities, construction of two-lane and four-lane roads, drainage, urban development, pond-pokhara revitalization and many works are going on at a fast pace under the Deendayal Nagar Vikas Yojana.
Additional Energy Department is also going to set up CBG plant on 11.328 hectare land, which will boost the local economy.
Educational Growth: PMShree Schools are changing the picture of government education.
There are 16 PMShree schools running in Sambhal and Bahjoi. The facilities in these schools are at par with private schools. The students here come in full uniform and can study in Hindi and English medium. Facilities like Education Park, Modern Science Lab, Restaurant, Medicinal Garden and Harishchandra Auditorium are the center of attraction in PMshree schools. CM Yogi honored DM Dr. Rajendra Pansia on the special arrangements made for disabled students.
Tourism Promotion: New direction for cultural tourism
Yogi government is developing Sambhal as a major center of cultural tourism. On the lines of Ayodhya, 24 Kosi Parikrama routes are being built here, through which devotees will be able to visit 68 pilgrimage sites. The obstructions and illegal encroachments associated with this route are being removed.
The process of declaring the Sisona Danda Fair, where more than five lakh people come to take bath every year, as a provincial fair is underway. Work is also going on on the revival of Mahishmati river. 5.565 hectares of land has been marked for tourism facilities in Datawali village, on which Rs 16.15 crore will be spent. Apart from this, the government is also moving ahead rapidly on the formation of Sambhal Kalki Teerth Vikas Parishad.
Community Involvement: Direct participation of Sambhal residents in the development journey
The government is connecting the people of Sambhal to the development process. Families who had earlier fled due to insecurity are now returning. The administration restored the property of more than 15 families on showing documents, and these families have also returned. In sensitive areas like Jama Masjid located in Purani Basti, illegal encroachments were removed and 39 police posts were created and more than 1300 CCTVs were installed. This has ensured both peace and security in the shrine area.
Economic Development: Sambhal’s big achievement in exports
