Lucknow, 3 August: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is constantly monitoring flood affected areas. During this time, he is giving necessary guidelines to the officials and relief department in the flood affected areas, so that there is no shortage of relief work. Apart from this, on the instructions of CM Yogi, the minister is inspecting the flood affected districts on the ground zero. At present 17 districts of the state are affected by floods. These include Kanpur Nagar, Lakhimpur Kheri, Agra, Auraiya, Chitrakoot, Ballia, Banda, Ghazipur, Mirjapur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Chandauli, Jalaun, Kanpur Dehat, Hamirpur, Etawah and Fatehpur. Relief work is going on fast in all these districts. At the same time, patrolling is being done by NDRF, SDRF and PAC personnel.

At the same time, 2,759 cattle have been shifted to the security place due to floods. So far, the houses of 343 people have been damaged due to floods, out of which 327 people have been provided assistance. At the same time, more than 4,015 hectares of area in the state has been hit by floods. Relief materials are being delivered to these affected areas with the help of 493 boats and motorboats. So far 6,536 food packets and 76,632 lunch packets have been distributed in these areas. At present, food facilities are being provided to the victims through 29 langars in flood affected areas.
The Yogi government is also taking full care of the safety and food and drink with the victims in the flood affected areas like a house provided to more than 11 thousand people in 905 flood refuge. So far, 500 quintal straw has been distributed to cattle. Apart from this, 1,29,571 chlorine tablets and 37,089 ORS packets have also been distributed to control waterborne diseases. A total of 905 flood refugees are active in flood affected areas, where 11,248 people are temporarily residing. All these are being medical checkup by 757 medical teams. Along with this, 1,193 flood posts have been established, which are monitoring the situation in the affected areas.
