Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, those who do not do any positive work for the society, they try to break social unity in the name of casteism. Casteism has weakened the country in the past and even today its politics is weakening the foundation of India. He called upon the people to move forward unitedly. CM Yogi was addressing the crowd at the Jauhar tribute ceremony organized at Enani City Center in Chittorgarh. During this, he honored those who did excellent work and also released the book of former Punjab Governor VP Singh.

Targeted at those protesting against Ram Setu and Ram Temple

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that some people are creating an atmosphere of distrust in the society through casteism and rumours. He said that these are the people who had once questioned the existence of Lord Ram and Shri Krishna. He alleged that such people had tried to postpone the decision by collaborating with the opponents during the Ram Mandir movement. CM Yogi said that these same people used to talk about breaking Ram Sethu and kept opposing the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. According to him, such elements try to harm the image of the country by raising questions on constitutional institutions.

The battlefields of Chittorgarh and Mewar gave identity to India.

CM Yogi said that behind the changes in Uttar Pradesh is the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but the inspiration of Chittorgarh and the battlefields of Rajasthan is equally important. He told that his revered grandfather Guru had gone to Gorakhpur from this land. The bravery of Chittorgarh, Mewar and Rajasthan, the Jauhar of the brave women here and the devotion of Mirabai inspires India. The Chief Minister said that Chittorgarh Fort is not just a structure of stones, but it is a symbol of India’s identity and self-respect.

Remembered the struggle of Maharana Pratap, Shivaji and Guru Gobind Singh

The Chief Minister remembered great national leaders like Maharana Pratap, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Guru Gobind Singh. He said that these great personalities fought not for their family or power, but for the country, religion and freedom. Referring to the sacrifice of Guru Gobind Singh’s four sons, he said that despite such huge sacrifice, he never gave up. Similarly, the contribution of Maharana Pratap, Maharana Sanga, Maharani Padmini, Maharana Kumbha and Bappa Rawal is immortal in the history of India.

Queen Padmini’s Jauhar described as a symbol of women’s identity

CM Yogi said that in history, three big Jauhars took place in Chittorgarh in 1303, 1535 and 1568. These incidents are a symbol of protecting women’s honor and self-respect. He said that due to the betrayal of Alauddin Khilji, Maharana Ratan Singh attained martyrdom and commander Gora-Badal also sacrificed his life in the war. After this, under the leadership of Queen Padmini, thousands of brave women performed Jauhar to protect women’s identity. Linking it to the resolve of Mother Sita, the Chief Minister said that it was a symbol of women’s dignity and self-respect.

Zero tolerance policy on women’s safety in Uttar Pradesh

CM Yogi said that after the formation of the government in Uttar Pradesh, zero tolerance policy was adopted regarding crime and women’s safety. He said that strict action will be taken against anyone who plays with the safety of women. The Chief Minister said that in Uttar Pradesh, which has a population of 25 crores, daughters now go to school, work in night shifts and return home safely. This is the right of every Indian woman.

Mentioned the bravery of Maharana Sanga

The Chief Minister said that Maharana Sanga had 80 wounds on his body, but he was more worried about the country’s identity than his personal pain. He said that Maharana Sanga fought continuously and prevented the invaders from gaining a foothold in India. At the same time, Maharana Pratap fought against Akbar at an early age and gave him a tough challenge.

Mentioned about construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya

CM Yogi said that when the society is dedicated to its ancestors and culture, then great results emerge. He said that the result of the unity of the country was that a grand Ram temple was built in Ayodhya and the symbols of slavery were abolished there. Referring to the resolution of Lord Shri Krishna, he said that determination is necessary for the protection of the good and the destruction of the wicked.

Remembered Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and freedom fighters

The Chief Minister also remembered Rani Lakshmibai, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Veer Savarkar and Swami Vivekananda. He said that Netaji’s famous call “Give me blood, I will give you freedom” inspires the youth even today. CM Yogi said that if Netaji had been alive, perhaps Pakistan would not have been created.

Emphasis on the glory of India and the concept of village swaraj.

CM Yogi said that the ancient glory of India always inspires. India’s economy during the Vedic period was based on villages, where farmers, artisans and traders were the backbone of the society. He said that invaders and colonial rule damaged this system. Now Gram Panchayat, Gram Sabha and towns will play an important role in building a self-reliant and developed India.

Emphasis on the immortality of Sanatan tradition

The Chief Minister said that there is no clear trace of the descendants of Babar, Aurangzeb and Akbar in history, but the tradition of Maharana Pratap and Rani Padmini is still alive. He said that Sanatan culture will always remain immortal and despite many challenges, it cannot be destroyed. On this occasion, Maharana Vishvaraj Singh of Mewar, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, MP CP Joshi and many public representatives and social workers were present.
