Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Today Episode: In tonight’s (January 20) episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Vidya emotionally manipulates Vani by making her believe that she is the reason behind the constant clashes between Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) and Armaan (Rohit Purohit).
Overwhelmed with guilt and feeling like a burden on everyone, Vani takes a heartbreaking decision to leave the house.
Before leaving, she writes a note for Abhira and quietly walks away, unaware that Vidya secretly slips some money into her purse, pretending concern while actually pushing her away.

Back at the Poddar house, excitement builds as Abhira and Myra prepare for an upcoming exhibition. Abhira is shocked to learn that both Myra and Vani have qualified for a major dance competition. Myra, thrilled at the thought of performing, is overjoyed when Abhira promises that she will dance with her.
Abhira and Myra are busy preparing for Myra’s school presentation. Their happiness is short-lived when Manisha informs Abhira that Vani has suddenly gone missing from the house. A worried Abhira immediately decides to go in search of her. She asks Myra to continue with the presentation until Armaan arrives, leaving Myra anxious and confused, especially when her teacher asks who she will perform with.
On another front, Krish is struggling to establish himself professionally, while Tanya remains deeply concerned about Anshuman’s company. Krish claims he will take over the business, but Tanya refuses to believe him. Their argument turns into a challenge when Krish dares Tanya to actually run the company and prove herself, setting the stage for a new power struggle.
Elsewhere, Kiara and Abhir inform Surekha that Manisha has invited them for lunch. However, Surekha feels insulted that she was not personally invited. She pretends to have a headache and refuses to go to the Poddar house, which makes Kiara suspicious about her strange behaviour.
Armaan, meanwhile, insists that Abhira cannot attend the school event because Vani is unwell. He decides to postpone his important meetings to accompany Myra instead. Abhira reassures him that she will handle Vani with the help of Kajal or Manisha and encourages Armaan to go. Armaan finally agrees and spends playful moments helping Myra with her project, strengthening their bond.
MEHER IS TENSED ABOUT ABHIRA AND THE CASE
At home, Kajal expresses her disappointment to Sanjay, feeling that they have failed as parents since Krish is still struggling to find a job. She urges Sanjay to support their son, but he refuses, leaving Kajal deeply worried about Krish’s future.
Later, Abhira and Armaan work together on Myra’s project. A lighthearted moment turns romantic when Abhira accidentally cuts Arman’s T-shirt, bringing them emotionally close. Their moment is abruptly interrupted when Vani starts coughing.
Abhira rushes to her side, and Armaan asks Abhira to sleep beside Vani to take care of her. Watching all this, Vidya grows anxious, fearing that Vani’s presence is slowly affecting Abhira and Arman’s relationship.
In another tense development, Meher confides in Mittal that Abhira and Vani are becoming a threat to them. While Mittal tries to calm her by saying that Armaan trusts Abhira, Meher insists that Armaan’s emotions have weakened him and that he even reopened a case because of Abhira. Furious, she accuses Abhira of deliberately picking a fight and orders someone to keep a close watch on her movements.
