Divyanka Tripathi pregnancy news: Actor Divyanka Tripathi, aka Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’s Dr Ishita, has delighted fans with a heartwarming announcement. She is expecting her first child with her husband, Vivek Dahiya. The couple is known for keeping their personal life private, and managed to keep the news under wraps for six months before finally sharing it.
Confirming the pregnancy, Divyanka revealed to Vicky Lalwani, “We managed to hide it for six full months.” She added that the baby is due in mid-June and described the journey as both planned and special. “Vivek and I wanted the baby only now, we tried, and it happened. We are blessed,” she said, noting that both families are “ecstatic” about the development.

The 41-year-old actor, also known for Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, explained how she kept the pregnancy private. She shared that she consciously stepped away from public appearances. “I hardly stepped out,” she said, adding that her absence only became noticeable when Vivek attended an event alone. That’s when questions began, eventually leading to speculation online.
Despite the secrecy, the couple appears calm and excited as they prepare for this new chapter. The delivery is expected to take place in Mumbai, and while preparations are still in early stages, Divyanka said they will soon begin baby shopping. The couple hasn’t finalised any names yet, and they’re not focused on the baby’s gender either. “We don’t have any preferences,” she said simply.
Divyanka also shared that she first broke the news to Vivek before informing their families. The couple, who tied the knot on July 8, 2016, after meeting on the sets of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, have always maintained a balance between public life and personal space.
