The Transport Corporation has intensified preparations to start roadways bus service on Shikarpur-Pahasu and Shikarpur-Anupshahr routes.
Beginning of connecting rural areas, survey continues
The Transport Corporation has started a detailed survey process to ensure bus operations on these new routes. These points are being examined in the survey, such as which villages require bus stops, how the stoppages will be updated in the ticket vending machine, road and traffic conditions for bus operations.
At present, people living in these areas are traveling only by tempos, private vehicles and carriages, due to which the journey becomes expensive and unsafe.

Buses will run in two trips in the morning and evening
In the first phase, there is a plan to install one bus on each route. Buses will operate on these routes at two times –
- morning round
- evening trip
This will provide great relief to students, employed people and daily commuters, who till now were dependent on private means.
Rural connectivity will get new momentum
After the start of the bus service, not only will travel be easier, but rural areas will also get better connectivity with the district headquarters. The administration is confident that this will lead to road safety, timely travel and reduction in financial burden.
