Yash is facing heavy trolling from audiences, especially after Toxic failed to connect with the general public.
The film has reportedly underperformed despite grossing nearly Rs 300 crore worldwide.
While support from his mother and some Kannada film stars is understandable, Yash has now received unexpected backing from a Bollywood director.
Aditya Dhar today shared an image of Yash from Toxic on his Instagram Story, along with emojis representing strength and love. Through the post, he appeared to extend his support to Yash and the film.
Interestingly, at one point, Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar 2 and Toxic were expected to clash at the box office.
Both films were initially slated for release on March 19, 2026, but Toxic was later postponed, while Dhurandhar 2 went on to become a massive blockbuster.
Despite that background, Aditya Dhar has now come out in support of Yash and Toxic, making his gesture all the more interesting.
