New Delhi: Royal Challengers Bengaluru pacer Yash Dayal has landed in fresh controversy after being booked in another rape case in Jaipur. Shocking details have emerged alleging his sexual involvement with a 17-year-old minor during IPL 2025.
Dalal has already been facing legal proceedings for a sexual assault case in which a woman from Ghaziabad has accused the RCB pacer of similar criminal activity.
However, the Allahabad High Court gave stay order on the Police Custody of Dayal as per the recent proceedings but this one seems to poses a high risk as it involves a minor girl.
An FIR was filed against him in the Sanganer Police in Jaipur. As per the reports, the 27 year old promised the girl a bright future in the professional cricket and used her for two years.
Not just that, in the reports as per the Jaipur Police he called the minor to the hotel while he came to Jaipur for RR vs RCB match and raped her.
The Jaipur Police shared that the first rape complaint came when the girl was just 17, leading them to register a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012.
If the charges are proven, Yash could face serious consequences. Cases under the POCSO Act move quickly in court and the punishments are strict with the possibility of him spending several years in jail.
RCB’s bittersweet triumph
RCB’s long-awaited IPL title drought finally ended in 2025 under Rajat Patidar which brought joy to fans and to Virat Kohli, who finally lifted the trophy. But celebrations turned tragic with a stampede at their victory parade which led to arrests and blame games.
The matter worsened when Yash Dayal faced a sexual harassment case and now fresh allegations in Jaipur have left fans even more disheartened. While supporters hope he proves his innocence but the law must take its rightful course.
