Nayyi Navelli, starring Yami Gautam, has a release date. Amazon MGM Studios and Colour Yellow announced India’s very own fantasy family-entertainment film, which is releasing in theatres on October 16. It is said to be a perfect festive offering that promises to bring the audience together for a fun-filled experience. Directed by Balaji Mohan and written by Himanshu Sharma and Divy Nidhi Sharma, Nayyi Navelli will take the audience into a world where the extraordinary collides with family chaos, unleashing unexpected twists and plenty of laughs.

According to the official synopsis of Nayyi Navelli, the film is about a ‘picture-perfect bride’ who transforms a chaotic Meerut household into paradise. Her brother-in-law suspects that his seemingly ideal sister-in-law may actually be a daayan (witch)!

At the Amazon Prime Video slate announcement event, Yami spoke about Nayyi Navelli and said, “Originality is something I’m a big fan of. With an original idea and creative minds like Aanand Sir, Himanshu and Balaji Sir, along with strong partners like Amazon and MGM, I expect something special.” She added, “We want to give viewers the best experience with all our abilities. I hope it’s worth their time and money.”
Workwise, Yami was last seen in Dhurandhar: The Revenge in a brief appearance as Nurse Shazia Bano. She headlined Haq with Emraan Hashmi. Yami played the role of Shazia Bano, who moves court after her lawyer husband, Abbas Khan, declares triple talaq and leaves her without alimony for their children’s education and livelihood.
