Xiaomi 18 Pro India launch updates: Xiaomi, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, showcased the Xiaomi 18 Pro series at the Snapdragon Summit 2026 and later launched it in its homeland.
The company added that the devices will debut globally this year. However, a recent tip from X tipster Yogesh Brar claims that only the Xiaomi 18 Pro could debut in India this year.
According to a Smartprix exclusive, the Xiaomi 18 Pro would be the only device that launches in India, implying the brand may skip the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max’s debut in the country. This could be due to the current “market conditions”, the report added. Moreover, Xiaomi 18T could launch next year as part of Xiaomi’s flagship lineup, around March and April. Xiaomi 18 Pro specifications
Since the smartphone has launched in China, we already know its specifications. The handset boasts a 6.4-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED 120Hz display and a 2.7-inch OLED secondary screen on the back. Under the hood, it runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip. Out of the box, the device runs on Android 17-based HyperOS 4.
As for the battery, the handset gets a massive 7,000mAh cell with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Speaking of the optics, the Xiaomi 18 Pro gets a 200MP main + 50MP ultrawide + 200MP telephoto rear camera setup and a 50MP selfie lens. As for more notable features, the phone sports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC and stereo speakers.
Xiaomi 18 Pro price and India launch timeline (expectations)
Xiaomi India’s official X post also hints at a launch of the flagship in India. While a launch date has not been revealed, we can expect the device to debut in India around December 2026. Xiaomi 18 Pro could carry a starting price roughly in the range of Rs 95,000-1,00,000 in India. Moreover, a higher-priced Transparent Exploration Edition of the phone is also expected to arrive in in the country.
