According to AIIMS and WHO guidelines
- Immediately after the dog bite wash the wound with soap and clean water for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Apply antiseptic after cleaning the wound.
- If the blood does not stop even after cleaning the wound, then stop the blood from the bandage.
- Rabies vaccine by going to near hospital or doctor
- To injure immunoglobulin if needed.
- The sooner these steps are taken, the less the danger will be.
