Global Firepower has released its military strength ranking for 2024, which features a list of the top 10 most powerful countries in the world.
The Global Firepower Index has ranked America in the first position with 0.0744 points. The U.S. has 2,127,500 military personnel, 13,043 aircraft, and 4,640 tanks.
Russia has received 0.0788 points in the index. It has 3,570,000 military personnel, 4,292 aircraft, and 5,750 tanks. The power and military strength of Russia are recognized around the world.
China also received 0.0788 points, but it lags behind Russia in certain metrics. China has 3,170,000 military personnel, 3,309 aircraft, and 6,800 tanks.
India secured the fourth position with 0.1184 points. India has 5,137,550 military personnel, 2,229 aircraft, and 4,201 tanks. India’s growing strength is a matter of pride for the entire nation.
South Korea received 0.1656 points. It has 3,820,000 military personnel, 1,592 aircraft, and 2,236 tanks. South Korea is the fifth largest military power in the world.
With a score of 0.1785, the United Kingdom is ranked at number 6 with 11,08,860 military personnel, 631 aircraft, and 227 tanks.
With a score of 0.1878, France is ranked at number 7 with 2, 00,000 military personnel, 976 aircraft, and 215 tanks.
These figures clearly show that three countries from Asia, China, India, and South Korea, are among the top five, reflecting the military preparedness of the region. Global military equations may change even further in the coming times.
