Venezuela is rich in natural resources
According to CIA data, Venezuela is a country rich in minerals. There are reserves of petroleum, natural gas, iron ore, gold, bauxite and other minerals as well as hydroelectricity and diamonds. According to 2023 data, 24.4% of the country’s land is used for agriculture, 53.5% is forest and 22.1% is for other uses. However, there is also a risk of floods, landslides, mudslides and periodic drought.
