World’s largest AI hackathon: TCS successfully completed the first global edition of AI Hackathon 2025. More than 281,000 TCS employees from 58 countries across the world participated in this hackathon, making it the world’s largest AI Hackathon. Based on 21 different industry related AI themes, the event set a new record of diversity and richness. This included 33% participation from women, 53% local employees associated with foreign offices, 36% mid-level and senior employees, 38% Gen Z age employees and 29% non-technical employees.

Why TCS organized AI Hackathon

TCS’ objective behind organizing the AI ​​hackathon was to provide employees access to Generative AI and GenAI platforms. The aim was to give them an opportunity to learn new technology and use AI in their daily work and increase innovation and skills through this hackathon.

Highlights of AI Hackathon

Hackathon gave a new experience by connecting people, platforms and partners. Top AI technology and tools like TCS’s AI WisdomNext were used in this. Generative AI was also used in the evaluation of Hacon submissions, enabling humans and AI to work together on a large scale.
