What is this special milk, which costs ₹ 60,000 per liter?
Nahargarh lion cub diet is included in the ‘Petlack’ powder milk ordered from America. This milk provides nutrition like lioness milk, which contains a balanced mix of protein, vitamins and minerals. The price of 200 grams of this powder is about 12 thousand rupees, and the cub drinks one and a half liters of milk daily. About 90 thousand rupees are being spent on this milk daily.

Why did the mother leave milk?
Born on 14 October 2025, the weight of this cub was only 900 grams, which is much less than the average of the normal lion cub. After birth, the lioness ‘Tara’ stopped feeding, which kept it in the neonatal care unit. Senior veterinarian Dr. Arvind Mathur took responsibility for its health.
